SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed regarding the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support place established for intervention ordeals a high influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the click here servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
